my treat for the weekend

the weekend was busy from the beginning. Kenzo + I went to an agility training in Ruckersville, so we had to get up at 6 am. after that he got a bath. around noon, Martin + I attended the company picnic in Grottoes. It was fun! I climbed up the rockwall + we discovered the Grand Caverns together. Then, like last weekend, up to Winchester. Nancy was so helpful and showed me how to groom his long hair correctly for the show.
unfortunately a lot of dog show contestants stayed at our hotel and the small dogs like to bark when others are leaving... an almost sleepless morning for me. the weather was hot, sunny with a tiny breeze from time to time. the ring had almost no grass, so it was sandy. Nancy told me, we did a nice job showing. it's good if someone with experience watches you + can tell how you did, because you don't get a report like in Europe. we were done before noon + thanks to Martin I could sleep a little on the way home.
after helping Martin with the Hot Rod engine, I took Kenzo + went down to Lexington to visit the Timbreblue puppies again :) I enjoyed cuddling + playing with them, while chatting with Sharyn. Kenzo wasn't 100% sure what to think at first, but soon enough discovered some chewies. Sharyn & Memphis Minnie Momma Juliet playing (or educating) Lightnin' Kenzo and a found chewy stick fully integrated in the puppy bunch, while Katie + Ms. Ivy hide on the unreachable elevated places (for now ;>)
